About Me

My photo
Studio Carolina
I am a retired Grandmother. I still haven't figured out what I want to be when I "grow up". I have spent most of my life creating "things". Early in my life, I did dressmaking for others. In 1979, I took a painting class and soon began selling my "things" at weekend craft shows. After a year, my hubby quit his job and until 1999, we traveled up and down the east coast selling our "things" at craft shows. At the beginning, we specialized in strawberries, both fabric and painted wood. It was a lot of hard work, but tons of fun and we met the nicest people. We retired in 1999, but I still get a thrill out of making stuff and love having a person buy something I have made. I have been making something new out of something old since I was in high school. It is my most favorite thing to do.
